Why do Sign in / Sign up open a separate page?
The landing page uses a dedicated auth entry page, and authentication is completed by AWS Cognito Hosted UI.
Can I continue with Google directly?
Yes. Click “Continue with Google” in the auth page. It routes to Cognito OAuth with Google as the identity provider.
Why might I not see the Google account chooser popup?
Browser session state can affect behavior. We force account selection in the auth URL, but Google may still auto-select based on active sessions.
Can I use SEC auto-fetch for all filings?
Not always. Some filings or formats may be unavailable, so manual upload remains the fallback path.
How are NEW / REMOVED / MODIFIED risks produced?
Risk items are normalized and aligned across years/companies, then classified into structured change categories.
Do stock or news questions force page navigation?
No. The chat agent now calls stock/news data tools in-place and answers directly in the conversation.
When does the assistant trigger risk extraction automatically?
It triggers when intent matches risk workflows or when attached filing content requires upload/extract processing.
What file types are best for attachment in chat?
HTML is best for end-to-end filing risk extraction. PDF is currently optimized for table extraction.
Why can Enter behave differently with Chinese IME?
During IME composition, Enter confirms pending text first. After composition ends, Enter sends as configured.
Which languages does the chat assistant target?
The assistant is constrained to Chinese and English and follows the user’s input language for replies.
Where are records and table outputs stored?
Structured results and related artifacts are persisted in your configured AWS-backed storage.
How does News connect to risk analysis?
News cards include pressure scoring and risk-linked labels to help analysts triage relevant headlines faster.
What if I encounter ticker mapping issues?
Use manual ticker override in the app configuration and verify company-ticker mapping before running analyses.
